This ridgeline singletrack is so blazing you'll need to cool off in the river // EP6
It's August and it's time to go head on into the dirt for a run up that ridgeline singletrack trail then up up up up to old mount steepy. On the way out we hit this super fun forest road that crosses the river several times. Great way to cool down from this dusty ride of Pacific Northwest goodness.

    I WORKED AT SNOQUALMIE PASS FOR 5 YEARS, DID ALOT OF BACKCOUNTRY AT "ALPENTAL AND THE BACKCOUNTRY THEIR" BUT THE VIDEO I JUST GOT THREW WATCHING SAID/SHOWED BACKCOUNTRY SNOQUALMIE. WOULD REALLY REALLY LIKE TO KNOW WHERE THAT BACKCOUNTRY IS LOCATED, HOW TO GET THERE.

    Was just up there on my 87 Honda last week. Finally made it up to the top of the Mt. Gonna have to find those water crossings next time. Looks like a blast! You guys rip through those ridge lines pretty good... Maybe I need a lighter, newer bike 🤣

    You probably saw remnants of a road when you were going down the river. It used to be awesome before it flooded out in 1996. It was just a cruise up to the intersection going up to jolly mountain. Last time I was up there was probably 8 years ago going the same direction you did. As we were looking at the bridge at the end of the trail my brother dumped his CRF 450 and hydro locked it. Took us over half an hour but we got it running after we pushed it up to the trucks

      I've heard that a few people a have died on that final section. They broke out rock some decade or so back from where last dude went off the edge. But it's only super exposed for maybe 500m so just look straight ahead.😬

      Above 4k snow pack is pretty good. Think some of the foggy days during big warm ups kept the base.

      Well worth the drive. I'd recommend camping out at Blue Lake or Cat Creek to explore for a few days. There's some super challenging trails out there if you're up to it.

    Sick video! I cant wait to get a splitboard. I have had a taste of backcountry via Elevator/Nash Gate at Alpental but stuff like this just gets me stoked to get one for next season and get out of the lift lines. Is this near the back bowls or some other area of the snoqualmie region?
